DISTRICT 31
The 31st Congressional District represents the cities of: Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bradbury, Covina, Duarte, El Monte, South El Monte, Irwindale, La Puente, La Verne, San Dimas, and West Covina and parts of Glendora, Industry and Monrovia.
The 31st district encompasses regions subject to obligations outlined in Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. Boundaries were carefully drawn to fulfill these obligations while also ensuring population balance and respecting communities of interest. This district comprises communities in the Eastern San Gabriel Valley, which share interests in forest management, recreation, and environmental protection, particularly following recent wildfires.
